HAS IT BECOME POLITICALLY INCORRECT TO SAY ROMNEY IS WINNING?

Well, here we are again, at another "game changing state, Illinois," but we know, given the history of this primary, that when Gov. Romney wins, it changes nothing (no matter the size of the win). The media, right and left will act as if he lost it (Puerto Rico will be ignored) and it will be said "Romney just can't close the deal," and it all moves on as if Santorum won. (He did much better than expected given Romney's spending advantage... it will not be mentioned that the sign of a good candidate is the ability to have a well built organization and the ability to raise money. In Romney's case this advantage is seen as playing unfair, poor Ricky). No one will mention that Romney will have added to his substantial delegate lead and the enormous 1.2 million popular vote lead over Santorum. No one will mention that polls show that if Gingrich dropped out of the race, Santorum will only get a little over half of Newt's support and the rest will go to Romney. People like Gretchen Carlson on Fox will say incomprehensible things like, "the delegate count really doesn't matter, it's all about perception, isn't it?" (which she said the morning after TN & AL, not even mentioning HI, which I think is a state).

And we will continue to hear Santorum's delusional statements, which I'm sure started as campaign propaganda, but which he now actually believes, that there is no difference between Obama and Romney. And Santorum will continue to ignore that there is an absolute differences between Federal and State's Constitutional rights while attacking Gov. Romney's Health Reform, and accuse Romney of supporting everything the Mass Supreme Court ordered upon the State, against Romney's will... And the list goes on. Santorum will fail to remember he believed Gov. Romney to be the "True Conservative" in 2008, after his term of Governor was over. None of this will change. And, no one in the press will report it, or question him about any of it.

Yesterday, Brit Hume said it best, on the After Show Panel for Fox News Sunday, "It has become politically incorrect to say that Romney is winning, and doing a pretty good job of it." Usually, in the Republican party we don't play this Politically Correct game, We usually laugh at the liberals while they tie themselves into rhetorical knots playing it. WHY ARE THE REPUBLICANS PLAYING IT NOW? That's the question. The overwhelming majority of the rank and file members of the party are choosing Romney, WHY CAN'T THIS BE SAID? The "establishment" that controls the dissemination of news is preventing the story to be told in it's entirety. We only hear,"Romney can't close the deal." Well, the game is different this time. This time around we are playing by the proportional distribution of delegates, a new system to allow more states to have a say, to lengthen out the process. Well it has done that. This primary system was designed for no one to "close the deal" too early. But, who explains this, NO ONE. Gov. Romney, given the new rules, and with 4 candidates is doing an exceptional job!

Back to Brit Hume's observation. Why would Republicans play this despised PC game which the left plays constantly, WHY? AND, BY WHOM? Is the left planting the stories, I am sure that the MSM is, we know they support Obama and want to diminish Gov. Romney's stature. But why are the facts being distorted, or not told, in the conservative media? Romney governed as a consistent conservative as Governor. "Who's who" in conservatism supported Gov. Romney in 2008, even Santorum, what has changed since? I just don't understand. To be Politically Correct (PC) means to offer only a set of facts which supports the orthodox or accepted narrative, to expose facts which support an alternative narrative causes one to be shunned by the established powers and to be labeled an outcast of accepted society (in this case the Conservative Republican Party). Why would we allow this sort of thing into our party? Is it the personnel ego's of Santorum and Gingrich that are bring this PC insanity into the party? Anti-PC is just a matter of presenting the facts as they are, not siding with a certain candidate. But, bias has entered the picture. This is the story, this is the question. Why? and by Who? Who is going to going to write that story?

Seeing Barack Obama's Sagging Poll Numbers, GOP Candidates Give Up and Go Home

 This week a New York Times/CBS poll showed that President Barack Obama’s approval rating had sunk down from nearly 50% to 41% in one month. A Washington Post-ABC News poll also shows Obama’s disapproval number at a solid 50%. These and other polls have shown the president in an increasingly vulnerable position during his reelection campaign.

After seeing the news on Obama’s sagging poll numbers, all four of the remaining Republican candidates collectively decided that it was hopeless, and suspended their campaigns.

“I just don’t see how any of us can possibly beat President Obama,” said GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney. Romney went on to say that his worst fears were recognized when he saw a recent poll showing him beating Obama nationally, 48% to 43%. The sad-faced former Massachusetts governor later on was spotted skulking back onto his tour bus with a beer in his hand.

Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, fresh off of his victories in Alabama and Mississippi, said that despite his recent gains, he has decided to get out for the good of the country. The dispirited Senator believed that he could no longer stand in the presidents way, especially after a new poll showed a majority of Americans now agreed with the idea that employers should be able to opt out of providing birth control coverage if they so chose.

“I could have worked for Planned Parenthood,” Santorum was overheard saying, as he and his wife boarded a plane for Tijuana, Mexico.

After suspending his campaign, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich announced several campaign appearances with Obama. Gingrich shooed reporters out of his hotel room, citing the need to hurry and write a few historical facts from 1834 into his next speech.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul, meanwhile, after suspending his campaign released a statement to the press announcing his immediate resignation from the House of Representatives.

“After seeing how a majority of people still want ObamaCare repealed, I know I just cannot continue to oppose President Obama," Paul said. “After speaking with the president, I understand the necessity of his health care law costing over $1.76 trillion dollars over 10 years. I also understand his policies regarding Iran and Libya as well, and he has my full support.” Paul later hinted after the cameras were turned off that he planed to submit his candidacy for the position of Fed Chairman.

All four of the former GOP candidates announced that they would be changing their party registration as soon as time permitted, for the good of the country. None of them could seem to recall how they ever could have opposed Obama in the first place.

Mitt Romney is his name

He wants to help America

  ....... “Fix It” is his game.

Our votes greatly matter,
it’s a nomination that Mitt really needs,
It’s our voices to share in the telling,
Of all his past Successes and Deeds.

Mitt stands for America,
He wants the best for You and for Me.
He wants Our Constitution preserved,
And a Prosperous Land from sea to shining sea.

He has knowledge and experience,
Leadership abilities we desire,
To make this Country great again,
And to light the Patriots Fire.

When he talks of his visions,
Passion shines thru his eyes,
His ethics and values are in the right place,
To make him Our President would be valiant and wise.

Of Mitt’s glorious virtues,
I could go on all night.
Let me share what he stands for,
As we go forward to fight.

If we send Mitt to Washington,
Here’s what he’ll do:
Cap Spending, create Jobs, Repeal ObamaCare,
And balance the budget too!

Those things alone are a gigantic feat
Now if that’s not enough to grab your attention,
He’s going to make government smaller,
And increase trade that’s been in suspension.

A stronger and up-to-date Military,

Tighter restraints on illegal immigration,

Now Is The TIme to Unite

For over 42 years now I have actively followed the politics of this great country in which we live and I can honestly say, that in all that time I have witnessed a lot of things, some I like and some I didn’t like but for the most part it was just politics.

Having said that, I will now tell you that I have never in all my days seen the likes of what it happening in this country today and when this is all over, I pray that no other generation will see this again.

There are several things I want to point out. The first is that the GOP of the past would never have allowed for things happening today to go on. I was shocked that after an investigation of campaign illegal issues that nothing is to be done. Newt Gingrich has crossed the line time after time, and yet they allow him to continue without even a public reprimand,
or penalty. Santorum has been caught on camera (undeniable proof) and witnessed by millions to having his super-PAC not only in contact with him, but also on stage.
Again, nothing is done. This is disgraceful and really puts the GOP in a bad light.

Now I want to talk about the debates for a moment. From the very first debate up until the debate Wednesday night Mitt Romney has been under attack. That is not what debates are about. What I find most interesting is that the attacks are encouraged by the Media and the hosts that oversee the debates. Yet, Mitt, being the man that he is, has withstood all the attacks and in most cases come out the winner. Even so, no candidate should have to go through this type of campaigning. It also reflects poorly on America and the American people.
Four years ago, I witnessed an election that bewildered me for many reasons, but the greatest was that the American people were duped not only by the DNC but the media, as well. You would think after that, Americans would have learned something, but evidently not.

Now we are in a fight for America as we know it. Not a socialist society as many would push us to. Our Constitution that has been the backbone of the democracy we so cherish is being torn to shreds, courts are corrupt, there is no trust left for anyone in Washington. Our rights and liberties are being trampled behind closed doors and still we do nothing but worry about who’s right and who’s wrong in a statement they may of made years ago. Where are our priorities? How come we have let this country and the people of this country take us to this point!
We lose our focus when we debate whether money given to help the Olympics ( a national event that benefits all of America) is the same as an earmark that gives taxpayer monies to (one state) for something as trivial as a teapot museum or a bridge to no where that just duped the American people out of more funds.
I say enough is enough! We, the American people rally together when disaster strikes like the 9/11 tragedy. Well, the tragedy we face today is not from the outside but from forces within, and we had better start rallying to unite now. Or the price we pay will be far greater then anyone can imagine.

Mitt Romney Campaign Playing it Smart, Winning on Delegates

Late Friday, Mitt Romney received some good news in of two more GOP primary contests from the South Pacific. He came away with victories in the Northern Marianas Islands and Guam, two contests that received little fanfare in the press. The victories highlight the strategy of the Romney campaign. Mohammad Ali might have called it “Campaign-a-Dope.”

Romney now has more delegates than all of his competitors combined, with a total of 481 delegates nicely packed away. His closest rival, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum has less than half of that. While Santorum and former Speaker Newt Gingrich are expected to pick up some delegates (during today's Kansas Caucus as well as in the upcoming weeks), right now the nomination is Romney’s to lose.

Mitt Romney 

Romney has made it this far despite the issues people have with his being a wealthy New England Republican, and despite RomneyCare. He now is paying equal attention to contests that others are largely ignoring, such as the upcoming March 18 Puerto Rico primary. Romney has already received the endorsement of Governor Luis Fortuño, and is expected to do well.

Letting your rivals punch themselves out seems silly in concept, but it is working out nicely so far. Last time around, Romney campaigned clumsily. Now, he is campaigning like the number-crunching nerd he is, and winning. Between all of his first and second place finishes, he has been able to leapfrog the competition.

While no one is close yet to receiving the 1144 delegates needed to secure the nomination, Romney so far is the best poised to take the prize in Tampa this August. Mitt doesn’t have to win this by knockout. A win on points will serve him just as well. After that, it’s on to the general election.

ROMNEY IS NOT THE ONE WITH “THE PROBLEM

Each day that I read my morning newspapers and turn on CNN, I am subjected to the admonishments … “Mitt Romney has a problem with (blank)” and then the blank is filled with “evangelicals” … “social conservatives” … “blue collar voters” … “the South” … and the list goes on.

The mainstream media and pundits would have us believe that Mitt Romney is a weak and problematic candidate who ‘cannot close the deal’ nor “connect” with voters.

The opposition, social conservative talk show hosts and Fox News tell us that Romney has a problem, because he cannot win over certain GOP voters.

It seems to me that Romney is not the one with “the problem”.

3,189,023 to voters to date have had no problem voting for Mitt Romney. He continues to win primaries and caucuses and has accumulated 430 delegates. No problem.

He has an organized ground game, strong war chest and a wealth of passionate supporters. No problem.

Romney has gained the endorsement of a former President and VP, Governors, Senators and Congress members because they believe he is the strongest candidate to go against President Obama in November. No problem.

So who has ‘the problem’?

The GOP has the problem, in my opinion.

Where would the Republican Party be without the strength of Mitt Romney and without the support of his loyal, passionate voters? What if both candidate and constituents decided to jump ship? It seems to me that the GOP leadership should encourage the base to unite behind their Mitt Romney lest they chance losing their strongest candidate and the millions of loyal supporters who stand lock solid behind him.

Now THAT would be a problem.

IS PRESIDENT OBAMA PULLING THE STRINGS ON THE G.O.P. PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATING PROCESS?

Bobby thomasMany believe team Obama exploited the occupy wall street movement and possibly created it to attack Mitt Romney's successful business credentials. OWS did not work and fell apart, except when GOP hopefuls used it to attack Bain Capital and turned around a 10 point Romney lead into a loss by ten in SC. 

Not long ago the White House created another distraction to attack GOP front-runner Romney's perceived weakness on social issues, and Rick Santorum was the perfect delivery system. At that point, Santorum was consistently polling below Ron Paul and clearly had no money! Most thought he would be out by the South Carolina primary until receiving a miracle recount that found forty votes and a super-PAC fund from one very rich man Foster Friess. 

Back to my point, Remember the debate question by George Stefanopolous on contraceptives?  It was an orchestrated set up as systematically we saw the headlines shift out of the blue from the economy to contraception, Cardinal Dolan, a little girl at Georgetown and Rush Limbaugh. Rick took the bait along with a conservative media and all the talk shows. Suddenly our core colors are waving and all conservatives rallied to the first amendment, as religion is being attacked by Obama! Hmm,  i smell a rat! At this point we must stop and ask why, why would the Obama Administration tackle a losing issue in an election year that would fire up everyone including independent Christians. Simple, this is a topic that only needs the President to stop, pledge support for the church and that topic goes away immediately. More significant is Santorum can wave his conservative abortion credentials square at Romney to rally a base! Colorado robocalls proved helpful to Santorum as he claimed to be the only "TRUE" Christian in the race! From that point forward Santorum has been on "message Obama" to rally anti-Mormon support and ignoring the economy! 

Finally a third time in which the Obama administration has manipulated the republican nomination process was reported in Florida.  A million dollars spent on attack ads aimed at Romney and funded by team Obama. Union calls from team Obama and liberal union members in Michigan, Ohio and VA was spread to take out Romney. I read that over fifty thousand liberal democratic union members crossed over and was told to vote for Rick Santorum in Michigan and another fifty thousand in Ohio. Exit polling confirms these numbers! Mitt should have won by a 10% margin without union mischief! The word in Virginia was show your anger and punish the process, vote against the front-runner! The puppet master in DC has knocked us off message three times (it's the economy stupid) It is thing to lose to a fellow republican let's just make certain who is pulling our strings!

U.S. CAN BE ENERGY SUPERPOWER

The goal of my energy policy is straightforward: guarantee America the most affordable and reliable supply in the world. Ohio is seeing firsthand the potential of this approach in the Marcellus Shale. The natural-gas revolution is creating direct jobs in construction and drilling, and producing a resurgence in American manufacturing. In the next couple of years, billions of dollars will be invested in the state in pursuit of these opportunities.

President Barack Obama has a different goal: higher prices, lower production and a government-led “green” industry. Ohio is seeing the effects of this approach, as well. The average family’s energy bill has jumped by thousands of dollars during his presidency. Gasoline-price increases, alone, have cost the middle class as much as would doubling the income-tax rate.

While the president now professes a combination of innocence and helplessness in the face of rising prices, the truth is that expensive energy was his plan all along. He said his proposals would cause electricity prices to “skyrocket.” He suggested we “bankrupt” the coal industry. His secretary of Energy wanted to “figure out how to boost the price of gasoline.” His secretary of the Interior declared he would oppose drilling even if gasoline reached $10 per gallon.

His administration has focused relentlessly on achieving his goal. His Environmental Protection Agency pushed through the costliest regulations in our history. He rejected the Keystone XL pipeline as “not in the national interest,” telling Canada to send its oil to China instead. He illegally blocked drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, prompting a federal judge to hold his administration in contempt. He has proposed a special energy-tax increase, and has 10 federal agencies focusing their attention on natural gas.  

 The statistics demonstrate his “success”: He has slashed the rate of federal land leasing by half. Where leases are established, his administration is issuing permits one-third slower than the previous rate. Oil and natural-gas production on federal land is declining.

In place of real energy, Obama has focused on an imaginary world where government-subsidized windmills and solar panels could power the economy. This vision has failed. His promise of 5 million green jobs vanished as fast as the $500 million he gave to his campaign donors at now-bankrupt Solyndra. His goal of 1 million electric cars went up in flames alongside the Chevy Volt batteries that prompted a recall of all 8,000 sold so far.

The costs of this anti-growth agenda are plain. Our economy just had its worst non-recession year since World War II, and families are feeling the pain directly as gasoline prices surge to record highs.

America is an energy-rich nation, and it is time we stopped living like an energy-poor one. As president, I will unleash American innovation and productivity to make full use of our natural resources.                                         

First, I will pursue dramatic regulatory reform to accelerate the exploration and development of oil and gas, to facilitate construction of vital infrastructure and to preserve and expand crucial electricity capacity. I will streamline permitting processes and create fixed timelines. Businesses can live with “yes” or “no,” but government must stop saying “maybe” or “wait.”

I will modernize our outdated environmental laws to take cost into account, and stop the EPA’s practice of using imaginary benefits to justify onerous burdens. In my administration, coal will not be a four-letter word. Instead, we will applaud the industry’s success in consistently expanding electricity output while reducing pollution. And I will respect states’ proven ability to regulate fracking, rather than sending federal bureaucrats to take control.

Second, I will increase production. This begins with a comprehensive seismic survey both on- and off-shore. President Obama complains that we have only 2 percent of the world’s oil reserves, but in truth we never have fully looked. For instance, some believe that new discoveries in North Dakota alone could double our nation’s proven reserves.

I will permit access to our resources in the Gulf of Mexico, the Outer Continental Shelf, western lands and the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge. I also will partner closely with our neighbors. Canada and Mexico have extraordinary resources of their own that can provide secure, reliable supplies for our economy. This starts with my approval of the Keystone XL pipeline on Day One.

Third, I will invest in new energy technologies. We must not allow President Obama’s irresponsible and unethical funding of companies such as Solyndra to undermine the Department of Energy’s critical mission of basic research. We can position America to lead on energy in the future without picking winners or stifling the energy sources of today.

This pro-jobs, pro-market, pro-American energy policy will bring energy prices down today, secure an affordable supply of energy for tomorrow, send fewer dollars overseas and create millions of jobs. America can be the world’s next energy superpower, if we give ourselves the chance.

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, coming off his primary wins in Arizona and Michigan, has jumped to a 16-point lead over Rick Santorum in the battle for the Republican presidential nomination. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary Voters shows Romney with 40% support to 24% for the former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania. This is Romney's biggest lead to date and the highest level of support any GOP candidate has earned in regular surveying of the race.

Mitt Romney 40% (27%)
Rick Santorum 24% (39%)
Newt Gingrich 16% (15%)
Ron Paul 12% (10%)

Mich. GOP gives Romney edge in delegates won, 16-14

A Michigan Republican Party has awarded the two at-large delegates to Mitt Romney, giving him the edge from Tuesday's primary.

The GOP credentials committee made the decision late Wednesday night to give winner Romney 16 delegates and second-place finisher Rick Santorum 14, said John Yob, a Santorum campaign advisor.

"Rick Santorum encouraged Democrats in Michigan to hijack the Republican primary. Because his strategy failed and Mitt Romney won, he is now attacking the Republican Party," said Amanda Henneberg, Romney's spokesperson. "The Romney campaign respects the process as determined by the Michigan state party, and we are pleased that we have been awarded a majority of the delegates."

Santorum's campaign said Wednesday it expected a 15-15 tie with the delegates because both candidates won seven congressional districts. There was confusion over how the two at-large delegates would be distributed.

The committee voted 4-2 to give both delegates to Romney, who won the popular vote in the primary, 41 percent to 38 percent.

Yob said the same committee set the rules on the delegates before the election and now they are voting to break them because it threatens Romney.

"This move questions the legitimacy of the Michigan Republican Party leadership and proves the Romney team is willing to do anything to win the election including breaking party rules," Yob said.

Through his work as a writer and editor forThe Drudge Report, he reached hundreds of thousands of conservatives who felt that their side did not have a voice that could cut through the thousands of media critics. He later went on to found several very successful websites of his own, namely Big Government, Big Hollywood, and Breitbart.tv.

His websites exposed the corruption of ACORN, helping to eventually strip down the organizations size and influence. His websites also helped expose New York Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner, after Weiner exposed himself. (Andrew's taking the stage at Rep. Weiners own press conference was nothing short of a hero moment in any movie). When allegations of racism and spitting on Democratic congressman were thrown at Tea Partiers, Breitbart offered a $100,000 reward for proof, which still no one has claimed to this day.
