VOTED OFF THE ISLAND!

By Sal Velluto
The popular saying “Cada quien en su casa es rey” (Everyone is king in his own house) addresses Sen. Santorum’s controversial assertion that Puerto Ricans should make English their principal language, if they want statehood.
The people of Puerto Rico are sovreign (kings) over the decisions of their Home-State, which is an extension of their own being and the place for them to live fully and freely according to their own culture, heritage... and languages of choice...............  (Which, by the way, are BOTH English and Spanish) - Sal Velluto
