Ron Paul, Sarah Palin, Rick Perry and the Dream Team That Would be Mitt Romney's Cabinet

By Jesse Merkel
If Mitt Romey wins in November, who he picks to be in his Cabinet will be a source of great speculation.

While President Obama picked a team of proverbial "yes men," who Romney would pick is somewhat of a mystery.

Who a president picks speaks volumes about what kind of leader they will end up being. Some pick a team of rivals, and some pick a team of friends.

Here is a list of who might fit perfectly into a Romney administration, and the roles they would fill.

Secretary of State - Former Ambassador John Bolton
 Ambassador John Bolton
I can think of no one else I’d rather see sitting on our side of the negotiation table if we ever open up talks with hostile nations.
Secretary of the Treasury - Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels
Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels
A former budget director and a very impressive Governor, Daniels would be an incredible Treasury Secretary.
Secretary of Defense - General David Petraeus
 CIA Director David Petraeus
Graduated top 5% from the United States Military Academy, after which he went on to earn an M.P.A. and a Ph.D in international relations. He wrote the book on counterinsurgency (literally), and served as commander in Iraq, Afghanistan, and also served as the commander of United States Central Command. Most recently, he has been serving as Director of the CIA. If we can’t have him as president, he’d make an incredible defense secretary.
Attorney General - Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani
 Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani
Before becoming Mayor of New York City, Giuliani was a United States Associate Attorney General and a U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. Bada Bing!
Secretary of the Interior - Texas Governor Rick Perry
 Texas Governor Rick Perry
He knows the outdoors, and Texas is sick of him anyways. Put him where he would do some real good.
Secretary of Agriculture - Congressman Richard Hanna
 NY Congressman Richard Hanna
A successful businessman who grew up in a family of dairy farmers, he has the smarts and experience to understand what makes American agriculture tick.
Secretary of Commerce - Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam
Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam
The Tennessee Governor would fit like a glove. Before running for office, he was the president of Pilot Corp, which he then left to join Saks Fifth Avenue as CEO of e-commerce.
Secretary of Labor - Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty
 Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty
The Cato Institute approved former Governor of Minnesota was also a labor law attorney before being elected to office.
Secretary of Health and Human Services - Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum
 Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorm
Then man who brought us health savings accounts and many other reforms in the early 90’s would be the perfect person to help dismantle Obamacare.
Secretary of Transportation - Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell
Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell
Okay, so he’s a Democrat, but he’ll work with anyone to get the job done. He is fair-minded, and cares more about results than he does about fighting.
Secretary of Energy - Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin
Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin
It’s all about putting people where they are best suited. Palin may have been gaffe-prone as a VP candidate, but she was a successful governor in a state rich in natural resources. Prior to being elected governor, Palin was appointed Chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.
Secretary of Veterans Affairs - Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell
Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell
Due to the fact that he is prevented from running again for Governor of Virginia due to the states term limits, McDonnell will be in need of a new job! A former Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army, Bob McDonnell would be the best person for the gig.
Secretary of Homeland Security - Arizona Governor Jan Brewer
 Arizona Governor Jan Brewer
The tough-as-nails border state governor would definitely not be another ‘big sis.’ She would direct resources where they need to go, and not waste them in all the wrong areas.
Bonus – Chairman of the Federal Reserve - Congressman Ron Paul
Congressman Ron Paul
Who wouldn't love to see this man enter the doors and bring the whole place to its knees? I'd put that on pay-per view!
Why no Education, Environmental Protection Agency or Department of Housing and Urban Development suggestions? Because Romney has suggested those positions are on the chopping block. Oh and all those czars? Kiss them goodbye too, thank god!
