Personal Rantings and Complaints: Thank Gingrich for Not Being An Angry Little Girl...

By Christopher Mason
Thank Gingrich for Not Being An Angry Little Girl... Tuesday was an amazing day for people in the Romney campaign and those of us who are frightened about where our country is heading. My own personal story is I am 20 years old and I'm looking for work, mainly in the Retail/Technical world being I'm not through with College. I dropped out at a young age, I remember how hard it was to find a job back then and complaining about how no one would hire me because of my age. Now, it's still the same, despite having four years of full time employment experience, retail, technical, customer service, and a year of college under my belt. Nonetheless, the solution is simple; elect Mitt Romney.

There's not a doubt in my mind when I say I'm behind Mitt Romney. Never has my allegiance nor my will faltered when it has come to Mitt Romney and that is because I know that we have come to a time where we need to let Politicians sit in the backseat and allow a businessman to take the helm. Mitt Romney is a businessman. Look at what we've got now sitting in the seat of the Presidency having a community organizer. There's nothing better than turning on the news and seeing race relations starting to recede, nothing like seeing the war on Women, or the war on Gays, or the multi-wars on Religion. I want to turn on the television and see the war on Debt. That's the only thing every American has in common, Republican, Democrat, Conservative, Liberal, Libertarian, Vegetarian, College Student, Muslim, Catholic, Christian, Mormon, Buddhist, Jedi, or Sith... We all suffer because of this deficit.

Yes, I know, this has nothing to  do with Newt Gingrich, I'm getting there. Hold on! Anyways, there's not a single doubt in my mind, nor many Americans right now that Mitt Romney is going to be the nominee for the Republican Party. That is a given. Now the question is about the ease of setting this in stone. That is where I call upon you all to thank Newt Gingrich. I am not too worried about Newt getting out any longer because he hasn't been attacking Mitt in the spotlight he had been. I look forward to Newt Gingrich backing Romney and I cannot wait to see him become a political attack dog on the Obama administration come this Summer.

In recent days, mainly the past day, Santorum staffers and backers of him have called for Gingrich to leave the race and give his delegates to Santorum. Thank you Newt Gingrich for saying no! For once you've said no. You hadn't said no to the first staffer you slept with on your first wife, nor the second, but finally the word no has entered your vocabulary. Rick Santorum is bad for the party, he's leaving a stain on what little credibility people may have about the two parties. There is a reason that Americans have unfavorable views on the US Government at the moment. We elect you, and once you're in office you forget about your promises, you forget about your constituents, only until it's time for a re-election in which case you then start back tracking and getting back to why you could and couldn't do certain things.

This is a simple rant. A single whisper in the pool of voices that are not only excited for November, but excited to take this country back.

President Obama Ruined the Economy, Paul Ryan Will Fix It

By Jesse  Merkel

Despite all of his speeches about bringing people together, President Obama is not a pragmatic leader who can find common ground like certain presidents who came before him. He talks a good game, but in reality is much more partisan than any president in the past three decades. A Democrat ideologue, he has governed under those principles since the day he took office. Sometimes ideologues allow their ideals to cloud their vision, at the expense of the people they govern.
Obama and his Democratic allies in Congress have increased the debt more in three years than President Bush did in eight, reports CBS News. That shows just how little he cares about the country’s financial woes, no matter how much he tells people that the economy will recover.
CBO Report: Paul Ryan Budget Would Double Revenue to $4.6 Trillion By 2022
President Barack Obama
Obama has repeatedly understated and lied about America’s financial situation. The national debt is skyrocketing past $15 trillion dollars. A photo posted on the Independent Journal Review shows that on average, the federal government takes close to $2.2 trillion in tax revenue each year. The federal budget this year is close to $3.8 trillion. That gives us new debt of over $1.6 trillion.
Deep in our recent memories, we can recall how Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) talked about the ‘draconian’ cuts in the budget of $38.5 billion. This is hardly draconian. $38.5 billion is barely 1% of the entire federal budget. With projected annual increased, it could be less than that.
Obama is completely tone deaf on this issue. His proposed budget was for $3.6 trillion, further adding onto the debt. Even if the Bush tax cuts were allowed to expire next year, it would not even be close to covering it. The House defeated the Obama budget with a unanimous 414-0 vote.
Obama’s solution consists of tax increases, and lots of them. Supposedly if we raise taxes on the wealthiest 2%, we’ll all be living in a utopian paradise. Except it won’t work, and Obama knows that.
According to the IRS reports from 2009, the most recent year available, tax increases on the wealthiest Americans would barely make a dent. In 2009, there were approximately 8,274 Americans with an annual income over $10 million a year. If you taxed this group 100%, the federal government would take in about $240 billion, which is not even enough to fund it for a month.
Do we listen to the ‘occupiers’ and raise taxes more? If we included everyone who made at least $1 million a year and taxed them at 100%, that would bring in $726 billion a year, which might help the government for over two and a half months at current spending rates.
Taxing is not the answer, even when you take everything that everyone earning over a million dollars a year takes in.
In response to this fiscal disaster in the making, House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI) has drafted a budget for 2013, which drew immediate fire from Democrats.
Obama knows that people have come to depend on their entitlements. Scare the hell out of them and they won’t agree with any agenda put forth even if it won’t affect anyone over 50 and would make the financial problem much easier to solve. When a budget proposal similar to Ryan’s was released last year, videos were produced of a Ryan impersonator throwing a wheelchair-ridden grandmother off a cliff. So much for a party claiming for more 'civility.'
Additionally, Ryan’s budget proposes cutting the corporate income tax rate, which is now the highest in the world, from 35% to 25%, dead even with that of China.
The Ryan budget also closes loopholes and eliminates many deductions, things many Democrats claim to love, except when it is in a Republican budget and they can convince Granny she’s about to be fed to the crocodiles. The CBO also recently scored the Ryan budget, calculating that revenues would double over the course of the next ten years under this budget, from $2.444 trillion to $4.601 trillion by the year 2022.
While this budget still has room for tweaking, it’s a great first step. Over time it would not destroy  Independent Journal Review . It actually gives their existence a fighting chance, because if nothing is done, they will go bankrupt.
President Obama misled the American people this week when he criticized the Ryan plan. He will do it again, in order to drive its negatives higher in the polls.

Mitt Romney Wins Big In Wisconsin, Maryland & Washington D.C. Primary!!

Conservative Samizdat Samizdat (Cамиздат-Cам-"self, by oneself"; издат-"publishing house"): Translates to mean self published. Providing conservative news and opinion since 2009.

By Jared Allebest ( Conservative Samizdat )

Tonight was a big night for Mitt Romney. in which he won Maryland, Washington D.C. and Wisconsin. A combined total of 98 delegates were at stake in these states and a substantial majority of the delegates in each state. Each of these primary elections were winner take all states in which all the delegates were up for grabs. By winning tonight, Mitt Romney increased his massive lead over his Republican competitor.

In Maryland, Romney won 53% of the vote which allowed him to win all the 37 delegates available tonight. An interesting fact came from the Maryland exit polls in which Romney TIED Santorum in Maryland among the very conservative voters. Also, 41% of Maryland voters said that the most important quality that they wanted in a candidate was someone who can beat Obama. Mitt Romney's victory in Maryland pushes him past the half way point of getting the 1,114 delegates needed to become the GOP nominee:

Maryland was expected to go to Mr. Romney, but the delegates he secured there pushed him past an important milestone on his quest to be the Republican presidential nominee: Mr. Romney is now more than halfway towards the 1,144 delegates he needs to mathematically win the nomination.

Maryland brings Mr. Romney's delegate total to 600 according to an ongoing count by The Associated Press. Rick Santorum, with 272 delegates, has less than half that amount.

Romney also won all of the 19 delegates in Washington D.C with 72 % of the vote Rick Santorum was not able to get on the ballot in Washington D.C. and as a result, Romney got those delegates pretty much for free.

Finally, in Wisconsin, Mitt Romney won 21 delegates with 43% of the vote. Clearly, this was a good night for Mitt Romney. Rick Santorum wanted to take Mitt Romney out by any means possible tonight but admitted that he doubted he could win Wisconsin after it became clear that Romney had erased his lead in that state in the weeks prior to the election.

Prior to this election night, the current delegate count stood as the following: Romney (568), Santorum (273), Gingrich (135) and Paul (50). Now the delegate count stands as pictured below:

Rick Santorum suffered an embarrassing loss tonight which demonstrates his declining influence in this primary race. He's stated that he would be open to becoming Mitt Romney's VP but Team Romney shot that down by stating he's not on their list. Part of the reason why the Romney campaign doesn't want Santorum as their VP is that he doesn't really have much influence or clout inside or outside the Republican party.

Despite losing badly to Romney, Rick Santorum remains undaunted and vows to fight on despite the fact that it is virtually impossible for him to win the Republican nomination because Mitt Romney Romney has collected 70% of delegates thus far (646), more than all the other other candidates combined (458). Given the impossibility of getting the Republican nomination, some people are questioning Santorum's sanity in pressing forward despite getting swept out by Mitt Romney. However, Rick Santorum has indicated that he will stay in the race until the Pennsylvania primary.

Tonight's victory demonstrated the 2012 Republican primaries are over. Rick Santorum is in denial about this fact. However, it has been announced that Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Romney campaign will now be raising campaign funds together. That's an obvious sign that the Republican party already knows who the Republican nominee will be.

Another sign is that for the first time in the Romney's campaign, supporters who came to see Mitt's victory speech tonight had to walk through metal detectors and saw an increase in the number of Secret Service agents at campaign event.

The best thing about Mitt Romney's win tonight is that it marks the beginning of the general election against President Obama. Romney is already beginning to shift to the general election by spending more of his time attacking President Obama than focusing on contrasting himself with the other 2012 candidates. Mitt gave an great speech tonight distinguishing himself from Obama and setting out his vision for America.

The battle between Obama and Mitt Romney is now on. Go Mitt Romney!

A Letter to all my Friends / By the Women, For the Women, and About the Women for Romney in 2012!

“ By the Women, For the Women, and About the Women for Romney in 2012!”

By Judi Rust
( MITT CHICKS ROCK )

Hello to All my Friends, I just had the opportunity to spend 3 days in Salt Lake City, Utah. For those of you unaware, travel for me these days is very difficult as I have a terminal illness so any travel is made more difficult by this fact, but I am a fighter and refuse to give in to the inevitable. My trip was totally worth any price I pay personally and was only made possible by the support and help of many people.

So, before I go any further I want to thank ALL of the wonderful people who made my trip possible and the success that it was.

Now the main purpose of my trip was not about or for Mitt Romney, though his success and getting him nominated and then elected is the one main goal and passion in my life at this time. As no day passes when I would pass up an opportunity to share his message and help educate Americans as to the reasons America Needs Mitt, on my trip it was no different.

Friday night, while waiting to meet some friends for dinner was my first opportunity. While sitting in a wheelchair unaccompanied outside an excellent establishment, I had a good number of complete strangers stop to say “hello”, and inquire as to if I needed any help or assistance. As I explained to most that I was fine and just waiting to join some friends for dinner, I had the opportunity to carry on some light hearted conversation. Out of the more then 20 (yes 20) people who stopped to chat, 14 of them moved on with a little more knowledge of my chosen candidate for President. What was amazing to me was the reception of my message and the comments made.

While all were not Mitt supporters, I do believe I may of somehow managed to at least give them food for thought. The one conversation that stands out thought was the one I had with a couple, in which the husband was definitely an Obama supporter, while his wife was leaning towards supporting Mitt. At the end of our conversation, the gentleman told me “Your passion and your message for Mitt Romney is contagious” “Your knowledge and sincerity have most definitely given me a great deal to rethink about how I wish to use my vote” While there are no guarantees this man will make a change when he goes to vote, there is now a greater possibility we may have another conversion. To me this is most encouraging. I don’t think it is necessary to have everyone come over to my way of thinking but just the fact that I gave enough information and education in a pleasant, and unthreatening manner was appreciated and as I said earlier “food for thought” that could have the possibility of changing a mind and a vote was success enough.

On Saturday as I prepared to join a group (Mitt Chicks)for lunch I was again given the opportunity to share several times my message and passion. Now Mitt Chicks, is a group of about 300 Ladies from across the United States that work both online and off in the support of Mitt Romney for President. We, along with several other women’s groups share a passion and a main goal. Our numbers combined far exceed over 1500, and while that may seem to many a relatively small number compared to the number of female voters, we do make a difference. For any out there who don’t believe that Mitt has the woman’s vote, or passionate supporters they only need to look at these organized groups of Ladies to see differently.

In my 42 years of voting eligibility I have never seen such an effort by women to become knowledgeable about the issues of economics, job creation, and National debt as I see today. So along with the core values that most women look at when deciding on where their vote will go, there are now other issues that any candidate must address. The research and vetting of the past, records of failure and achievement, and the goals that can be reached honestly are now on the top shelf. Women are learning that we have a voice and that we can and will make a difference.

The direction America takes in the future, is the greatest precedence in this upcoming National election. It is not about one issue or one man..It is about the welfare and preservation of not only a single life, but of the America we Know and Love and want for the generations to come.

So as I step down now from my soapbox, I will say that my weekend trip was a stunning success in ways I could of never imagined. The Ladies I had lunch with made a difference already in just bringing the awareness of the importance of this upcoming election out. America Needs Mitt Romney and our message will continue to be shared as will our passion. So please take the time to share even outside the political arena your passions and knowledge it is “contagious”.

Santorum's War on the Media

By Christopher Mason
Newt Gingrich instantly became a front runner when he attacked the media. To his credit, it was a very successful move. Now it appears that Santorum is attempting to attack the media, only, I don't think he realizes he's attacking the wrong one.

It started a few months ago when Drudge Report pulled up a speech about Santorum to a religious group back in 2008 talking about Good and Evil. Santorum criticized Drudge Report for doing such. Now this isn't a matter of whether or not they support Mitt Romney or whether they don't approve of Santorum, it's about doing what's right.

At the moment we have FOUR candidates running for the nomination of the Republican Party. One of which you can disqualify immediately because as much as Ron Paul has some good policies, he doesn't have a chance. Now we move onto Newt Gingrich, you'd have to be bat shit crazy to vote for him. The next candidate is Santorum who, he and Gingrich refuse to pull out of the election. It is hard to believe that Santorum doesn't seem to understand why lead Republicans and Republican oriented media may be being harsh on him. Both he and Gingrich should have been out of the race after Super Tuesday.

Santorum has in recent days attacked Drudge Report, criticizing them for their Pro-Romney support. He also at a recent stop had some words to say to the people in the hometown of Fox News' Greta Van Susteren.

Why he would attack Greta is beyond me, she's the only person in the Media who still treats him like he's a SOMEBODY. This is getting ridiculous...
It's not going to work Mr. Santorum... You don't attack the media for informing Americans on your failed attempt at running for President. Sorry!

Santorum's Impending Implosion

By Christopher Mason
I will go on to say like I have countless times over the past few years by saying Rick Santorum is a ticking time bomb. Before he ran for the nomination in the Republican Party I feel like the only time I ever heard his name in the media was about a failed policy, an absurd statement, or some controversial foot in the mouth moment but all are results of his thick headed, idiotic, loose comments and lack of thought. I feel like whenever he speaks the word he truly means to say escape him and he must have tourette's syndrome for he blurts out, especially in the past two weeks, whatever he can to hurt his own chances.

It could also be that Rick Santorum is such a genius that rather than bow out and look like he's a "Team Player" like he had been years ago he is actually trying to sabotage his own campaign. That is the only thing that comes to mind when I read about his most recent, political blunder and foot in mouth and possibly in arse statement.

Rick Santorum's recent blunder consists of a favored son of Wisconsin, a certain Paul Ryan. Santorum is like a high school girl scorned by a date that stood her up for a better candidate for the Senior Prom. I say this because, and I'll quote a portion of the article and link to the rest so that you can read it, "On Saturday, it became very clear that Santorum was unhappy with Ryan's endorsement when his endearing reference of Ryan being ‘a great Wisconsinite’ had changed. During Santorum’s speech at the Faith and Freedom Coalition he referred to Ryan as ‘some other Wisconsinite’, as he talked about Ryan’s tax reform plans. " -RIGHT SPEAK: Another Santorum Tantrum )

Before I get into bashing Santorum some more, if those of you reading this don't all ready understand I am a Romney supporter. I have donated not only money, time, and personally have voted for him in his campaign for the nomination. I'm just giving a full disclosure here. Now with that being said, back to the remarks of this scorned girl, I mean Rick Santorum.

I feel like it was just weeks ago that Paul Ryan was one of the most coveted endorsements and his name has been thrown around as a potential VP choice since the first straw polls in Ohio. The very fact that Santorum can go from, "a great Wisconsinite" to "some other Wisconsinite" is not only degrading to Paul Ryan but is also petty. There has been so much bad blood between this guy that even Newt Gingrich is starting to seem like a more logical choice of Santorum (and we all know the problems with Newt.).

Every day I turn on my TV and flip through to a specific news channel, I turn on my computer and I read my tweets and email. The various emails that I receive always have something bad to say about some one's past but with Santorum it's normally something from his past, as in an hour in the past... It's actually rather sad.

TURNAROUND

By Tim Shaw Sr.
In 2007, I read Mitt Romney's newly released book "Turnaround." At that point I knew very little about Mitt Romney, other than I had watched the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics and loved them. The Olympics had really inspired me, when they began I was still in a deep state of sadness from 9/11, which still hung heavy in the air. The Olympics were only 5 or 6 months after 9/11.

As I read the book, I discovered it to be a "real page turner!" I couldn't put it down, it was a cliff hanger, the situation was bleak and I just couldn't see how Mitt would pull it out. As I read the book I came to know that man in detail, I discovered how much he really does care about people. His style was to surround himself with very bright people, he called this his management team, and didn't make a decision until he really understood how and why the right course of action would be. Plus, I came to see how Mitt has the ability to inspire people who are engaged in a cause, that times seemed to almost be hopeless. He is motivated them by appealing to their best talents and their better selves. He was able to inspire about 5,000 volunteers to help, including himself, he directed the Olympics for 4 years, without pay.

In this book Mitt Romney describes in detail his leadership philosophy and how he utilizes it in a crisis. As he traveled the world, to gain international support for the then failing Salt Lake City Olympics, his natural international negotiating skills became apparent and seemed to come natural to him.

Of course, we all know the outcome of the games which were very successful. When I was done reading this book I literally felt like I had become so educated in business and leadership qualities that I felt like I had completed an MBA program.

On a personal note, it was at the beginning of this Olympic challenge that Ann Romney was diagnosed with MS. Not only was Mitt faced with the Olympic Challenge but he struggled with Ann's debilitating illness. I discovered how he and Ann personally struggled and dealt with this personal challenge.

If you chose to read this book, when you finish you will feel like you know Mitt Romney, his skills, and personality as you never have before. When he wrote this book it was before he had served as Governor or run as President. This is a must read for any American seriously considering who to vote for President. You will get well beyond the campaign stump, his opponents half-truths and other opposition "research," you come to know the real man.

When I closed the final page of the book the first idea that came into my mind was "This man needs to be the President of the United States, he has the exact skills our country needs." (The book is available at Amazon, or available to read by Kindle)

Liberal Media is Biased Against Mitt Romney, Ron Paul During 2012 Election

By Jesse Merkel
Does the mainstream media possess a bias in favor of President Obama and the Democrats? Yes.
For years it went largely unnoticed, mainly because of the lack of opposing viewpoints and a smaller amount of outlets. People had become accustomed to seeing a singular viewpoint on television. With the lift of the Fairness Doctrine in 1987 and the boom of Internet and cable news outlets in the late 1990s, people began to see a wider range of opinions.
Or do they? While it is true that conservatives dominate talk radio, network and cable news outlets are a different story. Liberals are constantly complaining about an alleged bias in favor of conservatives coming from Fox News. But are the facts on their side? No.
During the coverage of the 2012 presidential season and the GOP primaries, the coverage has undoubtedly been slanted to the left on a number of stations.
MSNBC, HLN, CNN, CBS, NBC and ABC news all seem to carry a slightly more liberal tone, to say the least. The sad part is that it seems to come from their anchors as well as their commentators. A commentator can say whatever they want, that’s their job, to provide opinion-laced commentary on current events. An anchor, on the other hand, is supposed to report the news with an unbiased opinion. At least, that’s how it is supposed to be.
Let’s get the elephant in the room out of the way. Fox News has four commentary shows. The Five, which features five talking heads discussing popular topics, features conservatives, liberals, and libertarians. Bill O’Reilly is an independent. While a strong social conservative, he believes strongly in liberal issues like global warming and limiting carbon emissions. Sean Hannity? Conservative. Greta Van Susteren rarely gives her opinion, and mostly keeps her show limited to interviews and breaking news.
PolicyMic
CNN HQ Gray Wolf
During the other 14-15 hours of non-repeating broadcast hours each day, Fox is filled with anchors that shy away from giving their opinion. Chris Wallace, Bret Baier, Jenna Lee, John Scott, Shannon Bream, Carl Cameron, and others report on the news, displaying the facts and moderating debates between liberals and conservatives.
Wallace is a tough interviewer on everyone. Megyn Kelly gives her opinion, but typically on legal issues. Bret Baier got in hot water with the Romney campaign for a line of particularly tough questioning during an interview, something not likely to happen had he been in the tank for Romney and the GOP. Fox may have a few commentators who ruffle liberal feathers, but not nearly as much as other stations do.
Consider MSNBC alone. Chris Matthews, Al Sharpton, Lawrence O’Donnell, Rachel Maddow, and Ed Schultz are the network's prime time commentator shows, all of which have a very liberal tone.  Whether it is on television or in the newspapers, liberals still outnumber conservatives.
So far during the 2012 GOP primary, anchors on certain networks have hammered the GOP candidates while repeatedly putting up softball stories on Obama. This past week, former Pennsylvania Senator and presidential candidate Rick Santorum blew up at New York Times reporter Jeff Zeleny after being asked about comments he made about his competitor Governor Mitt Romney. Zeleny's question to Santorum was much tougher than the type he had asked Obama in the past. (Zeleny had famously asked Obama what the most ‘enchanting’ part of being president was.)
On Meet The Press, host David Gregory repeatedly parrots talking points put out by the Obama administration, and in February was called out on it by former speaker Newt Gingrich.
Several outlets have repeatedly broadcast a selectively edited video of Governor Romney. The entire clip from a 2008 presidential debate shows Romney stating he would not be in favor of a federal mandate on healthcare. The clip the DNC put out was edited to make it look as if Romney had stated otherwise.
CNN’s Joe Johns and Gloria Borger were shown to repeatedly bring up stories of how GovernorRomney’s wealth was destructive to his campaign, and how voters were increasingly turned off by it. The same stories were shown on NBC. Newsbuster’s later showed how the stories came out of the DNC and their Super PACs.
There was the time this past week that CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin gleefully stated the he was “not exactly famous for his hatred of the Obama administration.” This was during a broadcast covering the Supreme Court's hearings on Obamacare. News networks know full well that any negative coverage about Obamacare getting pounded in the court could potentially harm Obama in an election year. Thankfully for him, some networks barely touched on it at all.
The GOP candidates have been repeatedly been lambasted by liberal leaning news networks. These same networks also give voice to the most radical critics, further skewering the public perception. But never fear; one day we hope they will cover more than Obama sharing a Chili recipe on Pintrest. Hard hitting journalism at it’s finest!
The majority of the mainstream media did not vet President Obama in 2008, and they are not doing so now. They pounded his opponent Hillary Clinton into the ground, while not reporting about any of the radical associations Obama held, such as the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, or former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers.
When someone does try to talk about these associations, news anchors like CNN’s Soledad O’Brien resort to having mini-meltdowns live on the air.
Just because one cable news network provides a more balanced view does not mean that media bias is a thing of the past. When it comes to more than a half dozen television news outlets, Santorum will be painted as the Salem Witch hunter, Romney will be the Rich Mormon, and Gingrich will forever be the adulterer. Obama will have their support.

Romney and the Wisconsin Response

Sunday, April 1, 2012

BY CHRISTOPHER MASON

The Wisconsin Republican Primary is only a few days away and former Governor Mitt Romney has received multiple endorsements this week that will no doubt have pushed him closer to winning this election and hopefully, closer to the Presidency. One of the questions that comes with these endorsements is, why now?

Well the answer to that is simple enough, why not? Wisconsin moved their primary up from where it normally would have been. This means that not only is it rare for Wisconsin to make a difference but this election in it's own has been different for most of the states were proportional. This means that whoever got X amount of the vote would also receive X amount of the delegates up for state from that state.

This is different in comparison to Wisconsin which is a winner takes all state. Rick Santorum just weeks ago was leading Romney in Wisconsin which is a relatively blue collar state. The endorsement from Marco Rubio comes at a crucial time for Mitt Romney and it will help him capitalize on the failing campaigns of Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum.

This week alone Newt Gingrich has let go of 1/3rd of his staff, and his campaign staff manager. He swears that this will help him on his path to the nomination but the problem that many see here is that the Republican party is at odds with themselves. As a precursor, Newt Gingrich has also said that he expects Rick Santorum and himself will welcome Mitt Romney as the nominee with open arms if he can get to that magic delegate count. What I, nor many others who are watching this campaign, can understand is why are you even dragging this race out? Why doesn't Newt and Rick Santorum just back out now and give Mitt Romney the nomination. (We all know he's going to be the nominee.)

Marco Rubio endorsing Mitt Romney when he did, shortly after Rick Santorum's rant about his words being taken out of context and something about bullshit, comes at a pivotal time. Rick Santorum has been referenced as before, a hot head. He has at various times fueled the argument by many on the left that we stick to our religion and that's that. He is a terrible candidate. Religion is not supposed to be forced upon someone else and you can see that with Mitt Romney, he doesn't force Mormonism on us.

When Mitt Romney was governor of my state her in MA he didn't force candy taxes the way our current governor has contemplated, same with soda, we now have a new tax on beer, which for Mitt Romney would have been easy things to do because as a Mormon he doesn't like taking anything that would effect the human body such as sugar, caffeine, tobacco, ect., If Rick Santorum was not so radical he might have had a chance, but now with all these key endorsements coming out it helps to play with the fact that Romney can energize the base.

The best endorsement right now for Mitt Romney is the endorsement of Congressmen Paul Ryan of Wisconsin. This is a big endorsement, maybe even bigger than that of Marco Rubio and the only reason I say that is Rubio did not endorse when Romney was running for Florida or even Puerto Rico which it may have helped to sway it a little more. Paul Ryan endorsed a little under a week of the Wisconsin Primary which does help to shape those who take what their legislators recommend at face value. This also is great for those people who are on the fence and really like Paul Ryan and hearing him back Romney over Santorum, it does show that Santorum's credibility is gone.

Mitt Romney has stated he believes he is going to win the Wisconsin Primary. At the moment, Romney has estimated 565 delegates. He is almost halfway there to the 1,144 needed to win the nomination. The District of Columbia and Maryland also have primaries on Tuesday and Mitt Romney is expected to win all of them bringing him closer to the nomination. Then later on in the month states like Connitecut, New York, and Rhode Island are all projected to go to Mitt Romney with Pennsylvania being a large toss up state.

Here's to hoping, best wishes Governor Romney!
