Tim Tebow, Kid Rock, and the 5 Celebs Who Can Help Mitt Romney Take Down George Clooney and Obama

By Jesse Merkel
Governor Mitt Romney nearly has the Republican nomination wrapped up. Former Speaker Newt Gingrich and Texas Congressman Ron Paul are massively far behind in the delegate count. Even if Rick Santorum were to transfer all of his delegates to one of them, they would still have less than half than Romney. With a majority of party and grassroots support behind him, it is only a matter of time before he reaches 1,144.
Now,  the tone has changed to one more akin to a general election, with Romney and Obama taking more and more shots at each other. Celebrities like George Clooney are lining up to throw fundraisers for the president, and more are expected to join him on the campaign trail.

Voight
 1. Jon Voight
The widely respected actor has been an avid supporter of the Tea Party and smaller government for years, appearing at numerous rallies and protests across the country. Voight is known for delivering powerful speeches without the bomb-throwing rhetoric, and could prove quite an influential voice on the campaign trail for Governor Romney.
Actor Gary Sinise2. Gary Sinise

is another respected actor known for his work in movies like Forrest Gump and Apollo 13, as well as the hit TV show CSI: New York. He is a very outspoken supporter of the U.S. military, and has regularly has volunteered his time with returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. Sinise has also appeared in and narrated commercials for the U.S. Army. His support would no doubt help shore up a few extra votes from the families of both active duty and retired U.S. service members.

Sara Evans @ Toadlick Music Festival in Dothan, AL on March 24, 2012. 3. Sara Evans
The Country Music superstar has millions of adoring fans and would be a huge draw for a Romney campaign stop in the South or Midwest. Evans is an avid conservative, gun rights supporter, close friends with Sean Hannity, and sang at the 2004 Republican National Convention. Need I say more?
4. Kid Rock
AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy-- "Rock Star" Kid Rock performs as part of a USO holiday show held for the Aviano community, Dec. 22, 2007.A fellow son of Michigan, Kid Rock has already granted Romney his permission to use his song "Born Free" as his campaign battle cry. The music superstar has an absolutely massive fan base, and has regularly performed overseas at different USO shows. During an interview in 2011, Kid Rock said, "I think I'm like the majority of people who are tired - we don't want a bunch of Bible thumpers running the country and we don't want a bunch of pot-smoking hippies running it." No wonder he endorsed Romney in 2008.
5. Tim Tebow
Photo of Tim Tebow “Tebowing” taken on 1-1-2012 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High (Denver Colorado). Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs Photo was taken prior to the start of the 2nd half. Why not? A rising-star athlete with a huge fan base, many of which are evangelical Christians. Anyone would love to have someone like Tebow rooting for him on the campaign trail, whether they admit it or not. Not only would he draw legions of adoring fans, but he could help to ease a few worried minds of those who may hold some reservations about Romney's Mormonism. If the guy could draw tens of thousands to see him give an Easter Sunday sermon, he could do wonders for Romney.
